Independent Distillers Canada Selects Southern Glazer’s for RTD Distribution

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Canada — a division of the largest North American wine and spirits distribution company — today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Independent Distillers Canada (IDC), a producer in the Ready to Drink (RTD) beverage alcohol market.

With the agreement, Southern Glazer’s will manage distribution of IDC’s brands in three Canadian provinces – Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.

The distribution agreement for these Canadian provinces was effective June 1. 2018.

Core brands in the IDC portfolio include Vodka Mudshakes, Twisted Shotz, Alive vodka coolers, NZ PURE LAGER, Dos Locos, Honesty Box Ciders, and Naughty Cow. The agreement represents a commitment by both companies to grow and realize the full potential of the IDC portfolio in the three Canadian provinces in which Southern Glazer’s will operate with IDC, the company says.

Distribution of IDC brands in all other Canadian provinces and territories remains unchanged.
