Vintage and harvest notes: 2006 was an excellent year for the wines of Piedmont with the vines slightly stressed from long dry spells. Hand raised and hand picked from our 1960 planted vines trained with the guyet method. Yield is tightly controlled with the owner/winemaker undertaking a double selection "thinning" at varaison to maximise quality.

Winemaking and Technical Notes: 100% stainless steel fermentation, malolactic and maturation for 12 months prior to cold stabilisation and bottling.

Notes: Niche production from hand worked and picked single vineyard comprised of old (1960) vines only. Low yield rigidly enforced with additional pruning at vairaison and immediately pre-harvest. Entirely worked by owner and family.
