The William Grant & Sons-owned Irish whiskey brand Tullamore D.E.W. has named two new U.S. brand ambassadors: Gillian Murphy and Donna Stewart.

The two of them will join National Ambassador, Tim Herlihy, as East and West Coast Ambassadors, respectively. Murphy, residing in Chicago, will cover the East Coast market, while Stewart, residing in Los Angeles, will cover the West Coast.

Together, the three lead a larger team comprised of 16 ambassadors, including local market representatives, covering all corners of the U.S., and will share pours, cocktails and all things hospitality for Tullamore D.E.W., the company says.

Murphy hails from Cork and joined the trainee brand ambassador program with Tullamore D.E.W. after graduating from university in 2015. She went on to serve as the in-market Tullamore D.E.W. trainee in South Florida before a stint in London working with William Grant in their Global Travel Retail department.

Stewart has held jobs in the hospitality and social media marketing industries for the past several years. She’s an avid Irish whiskey collector.

“I’m looking forward to working alongside two highly qualified ambassadors as we aim to spread the love of Tullamore D.E.W. across the country,” says Herlihy, national ambassador. “They each have an expansive knowledge of the whiskey category and having both work together to cover all of our U.S. markets is wonderful asset for our brand.”

This news comes as the brand continues to expand following the opening of a new distillery and visitor’s center in 2014.
